Dr.Terrence Ferguson D.V.M.
Dr.Ferguson was born in Talbotton Ga. Knowing at the early age of 7 he wanted to become a Veterinarian he set his goals. He graduated from Central High School in Talbotton Ga in 1987 and entered Fort Valley State College on a football scholarship. Majoring in Veterinary Science he spent summers working for U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in various locations such as Cooksville, TN, Laurel,MD and Kodiak Alaska.
After graduating from F.V.S.U. in 1992 with a B.S. in Veterinary Technology he spent the next 2 years working as a Veterinary Technician at Corker Animal Hospital in Warner Robins, GA. Dr.Ferguson entered Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. During his four years at T.U.S.V.M. he continued to improve his medical and leadership skills which was evident in him receiving the Pfizer Animal Health Award for highest proficiency in small animal medicine in his senior class as well as serving as class president for 3 years. Dr.Ferguson graduated from T.U.S.V.M. in 1998. He, along with Dr.Hodges, opened Critter Fixer Veterinary Hospital in 1999.
Dr.Ferguson enjoys spending time with family and friends. He enjoys entertaining and has a passion for antique cars.

Dr. Vernard Hodges D.V.M.
Dr. Hodges was born in Norwalk, Connecticut but was raised in Fort
Valley, Georgia. Growing up in rural Peach County is where his love
and passion for all animals and knack for trying to heal all things
developed. He grew up on a small farm with goats, cows, dogs, a cat,
turtles, and countless other pets. As an only child it was these "pets"
that he spent countless hours nurturing and taking care of. He is a 1988
graduate of Peach County High School - Go Trojans! He graduated in 1993
from Fort Valley State University as a Fish Biologist, spending his
summer between Veterinary school and in Nepal and India working for the
Agency for International Development developing an Aquaculture program
at Lake Phema Nepal to growing and developing fish as a source of
inexpensive protein for the village residents. Dr. Hodges also
participated in an Aquatic Internship at the University of Mississippi
with hopes of becoming a Marine Biologist and the next "Jacques
Cousteou." Nonetheless, his true passion for Veterinary Medicine was
fulfilled when he applied and was accepted to Tuskegee University School
of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a DVM in 1997. Dr. Hodges is
married with one son, Vernard, II. Dr. Hodges has three dogs; Big,
Honey, and Blueberry. He also raises Koi on a fish farm in Peach
County. |
Misti Renna-Office Manager
A mother of 3, Misti has worked under the direction of supervision of Dr.Ferguson since 1999, to establish and maintain protocols that support Critter Fixer Veterinary Hospitals vision and standards of care.

Linda Pickett-Professional all breed cat & dog Groomer
Linda has been with Critter Fixer since 2001 & has 27 yrs of grooming experience. She works Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri. & half day Sat. Please call the clinic at 478-956-2332 to schedule an appointment.

Ralph Brashear-Head Technician
Ralph has been with Critter Fixer since 1999 and has a broad knowledge of animal science and medicine. His many tasks include assisting in surgery, monitoring hospitalized animals taking radiographs and performing laboratory tests, just to name a few.

Nancy Payton-Technician
Ms. Payton has been part of the Critter Fixer team since 2001.She is one of the friendliest faces you will see. Her love of animals shows through in her work.

Victoria Gifford-Technician
Rounding out our wonderfull team is Victoria. She is a graduate of F.V.S.U. with a B.S. in Veterinary Technology. She is currently preparing to enter school for Veterinary Medicine.
